DIGICORE’s crossover sound is second-to-none. The band blends a raw punk aesthetic and some industrial strength rock instrumentation inside a cocoon of vibrant and cutting electronic sounds to create an accessible yet hard-hitting mix.

The York-based band formed in 2005 and instantly became a success on the local scene by winning the prestigious Fibbers Battle Of The Bands in the same year.

Since then, the band has gone from strength-to-strength with hundreds of well-received live performances across the country and three critically acclaimed independent releases, 2007′s ‘Synaptic Decay’, followed by ‘Self Armageddon’ in 2008 and ‘The End Of Days EP’ in 2009. The four-piece, made up of Danny Carnage (vocals, programming), S-73 (guitar), 512MB (bass) and Cell on drums have constantly evolved and progressed, never content to just focus on one sound or settle into one specific genre.

The group champion their live performance and are proud to be able to re-create the intense and progressive sounds of their records within the live arena. Digicore have been praised on numerous occasions by promoters and bands alike for their distinct presence on stage which recalls the glory days of alternative bands like Pitchshifter, Nine Inch Nails and Atari Teenage Riot.

With a new as-yet-untitled album on the way and a national tour confirmed later in 2010 the band are set to take themselves to new heights and re-invent cyberpunk music to inspire a new generation of disenchanted rock fans.
